The EUROPE installation was originally initiated to send a signal of solidarity and cohesion in the EU after the Brexit referendum. We could not have foreseen that the work would continue into a new era 'Zeitenwende'. We always said that the Europe installation shines for peaceful coexistence, but we had no idea that this aspect would one day become so important.

After the European Union was threatened with internal disintegration during Brexit, massive aggression from outside has led to a stronger cohesion within the EU since the year before last. "The peoples of Europe are determined to share a peaceful future on the basis of common values ??by joining together in an ever closer union. The Union is founded on the indivisible and universal values ??of human dignity, freedom, equality and solidarity. It is based on the principles of democracy and the rule of law."
